(Foxboro, MA) -- The New England Patriots are getting some positive injury news. Tight end Rob Gronkowski is reportedly 50-50 to play this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is recovering from offseason forearm and back surgery. Meantime, wide receiver Danny Amendola will not need surgery for a sports hernia. He could return in a couple weeks.
Falcons' Jackson Could Miss A Month
(Flowery Branch, GA) -- The Atlanta Falcons may be without running back Steven Jackson for an extended time. NFL.com reports that the former Rams star could miss up to a month with a thigh injury that knocked him out of Sunday's win over St. Louis. Jackson is considered week-to-week. He came out of Sunday's game after a first-quarter touchdown catch and did not return.
