Eagles Beat Skins in Kelly's Debut

(Landover, MD) -- The Chip Kelly era in Philadelphia is off to a rousing start as the Eagles defeated the Redskins 33-27 at FedEx Field. Kelly says his team was loose and had fun which helped them play well.

Washington jumped out to a 7-0 lead after DeAngelo Hall returned a fumble 75 yards for a touchdown, but Philly went on to score 33 consecutive points after that. Michael Vick threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, while totaling 257 yards. LeSean McCoy had 184 yards on a career-high 31 carries. DeSean Jackson totaled seven receptions and 104 yards including a 25-yard TD catch. Washington made things interesting as Robert Griffin the Third awoke after a poor first half in his return from offseason knee surgery. RG3 finished with 329 passing yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The Skins turned the ball over three times.

(San Diego, CA) -- Randy Bullock kicked a 41-yard field goal as time expired to finish off the Texans' 31-28 comeback win over the Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium.
