(College Station, TX) -- The NCAA is digging into the controversy surrounding Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. ESPN says officials met with the Heisman Trophy winner for six hours on Sunday to question him about allegations that he accepted payments for autographs from memorabilia dealers. The NCAA is unsure if it will need to meet with Manziel again.

 

NFLPA Files Grievance For Aaron Hernandez

The NFL Players Association is coming to the defense of Aaron Hernandez. ESPN is reporting that the NFLPA has filed a grievance against the New England Patriots on behalf of Hernandez and is seeking to collect $82,000 in workout bonuses from his contract. The tight end had his contract terminated after he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
