NFL's First Week Of Preseason Ends

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The first week of the NFL's preseason has come and gone. The Buffalo Bills picked up a 44-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts Sunday to close out a full week of contests.  Bills rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel shined completing 16-of-21 passes for 107 yards and touchdown. Andrew Luck saw limited action for the Colts throwing only six passes and totaling 51 yards. Week Two of the NFL exhibition season begins on Thursday with four more games.

 

Ravens Sign Stokley, Clark To Boost Receiving Depth

(Owings Mills, MD) -- The Ravens are adding a few veteran pass catchers. Wide receiver Brandon Stokley and tight end Dallas Clark are both in the fold for the Super Bowl champs  Stokley rejoins the team after being selected in the fourth round in the 1999 draft by Baltimore.  He caught three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' Super Bowl 35 win over the Giants. Clark will take a physical today in Owings Mills.  Both players have played under offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell.
