(Philadelphia, PA) -- Quarterback Donovan McNabb is calling it a career. The 36-year-old formally retired Monday as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. McNabb spent his first 11 seasons in Philadelphia and says he never let criticism from fans affect his play.
McNabb led the Eagles to 91 regular-season wins, five NFC East titles and nine playoff victories. The six-time Pro Bowler holds nearly every team passing record. McNabb's number-five jersey will be retired on Thursday, September 19 when the Eagles host the Kansas City Chiefs.
