Former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is set to tackle a new role.  After retiring in May, Urlacher will join FOX Sports and be a part of the new Fox Football Daily show on Fox Sports 1. The show is set to begin August 19 on the new network and go up against ESPN's Sportscenter at 6 p.m. Eastern each night.  Sources tell TheBigLead.com that Urlacher was heavily courted by the NFL Network, but chose FOX instead.
