(Washington, DC) -- The Baltimore Ravens are celebrating their Super Bowl championship in the nation's capital. President Obama welcomed the Ravens to the White House today to congratulate the team on its second NFL championship.

Baltimore held on with a late goal line stand to beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans. Aside from the team's victory on the field, the President also acknowledged the Ravens' work in the community. The Ravens previously visited the White House in 2001 to celebrate their first Super Bowl title with then President George W. Bush.
