Urlacher Announces Retirement

(Chicago, IL) -- Longtime Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher announced his retirement from the NFL yesterday. Urlacher says he'll miss his teammates, coaches and Bears fans, but leaves the game with no regrets.  He became a free agent this past offseason, and he and Chicago were unable to reach a new contract.

Woodson Heading Back To Raiders

(Alameda, CA) -- The Raiders have brought back Charles Woodson. The 36-year-old defensive back has agreed to a one-year deal with Oakland.  Woodson spent his first eight seasons with the Silver and Black after being drafted fourth overall in 1998. He signed as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers before the 2006 season.
