Zack Martin Practicing With Cowboys Again

After skipping all nine voluntary offseason workouts, Zack Martin is practicing with the Dallas Cowboys again. Martin and the Cowboys are reported to be close to a deal that's expected to make him the highest-paid guard in the NFL.

 

Raiders Waive Hackenberg

The Oakland Raiders have waived quarterback Christian Hackenberg just three weeks after acquiring him. The Raiders gave up a conditional seventh-round pick to get Hackenberg.


Rams Ordered to Pay Damages

The Los Angeles Rams have been ordered to pay former NFL running back Reggie Bush $12.45 million in damages for a knee injury he suffered when the team was still in St. Louis in 2015. Bush was with the 49ers when he ran out of bounds on a punt return and slipped on some concrete. The Rams were found to be negligent in stadium safety, but say they plan to appeal.

 

Hardy Awarded UFC Contract

Ex-NFL player Greg Hardy was awarded a contract with the UFC following his professional MMA debut last night after knocking out Austen Lane just 57 seconds into their heavyweight bout. Hardy hasn’t played in the NFL since 2015, partly due to off-the-field legal issues involving domestic violence and drug possession.
