Bradley Sets Millikin Record, Newton's Michl Has Fifth Fastest Time

Sarah Bradley (Decatur, MacArthur H.S.) set a new Millikin cross country record as part of the Big Blue’s competition at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Brooks Invitational at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis. on Oct. 19. The meet including 37 teams with over 1,000 runners.
Bradley finished in 32nd place in the women’s 6K race in a time of 22:36.92 setting a new Millikin record. Jamie Michl (Newton, H.S.) covered the course in 23:28.16, which was the fifth fastest time in school history. Millikin senior Liz Wrobel (Tinley Park, Andrew H.S.) ran the race in 25:02.15 improving her spot in 21st fastest all-time at Millikin.
The Millikin women finished in 23rd in the team competition.
