St. A Claims Boys Meet While Robinson Won Its Own Girls C.C. Meet

ROBINSON --  Effingham St. Anthony captured the boys meet while Robinson High School claimed its own girls cross country invitational Tuesday.

In boys action, the Bulldogs nabbed second through fifth places to tally 23 points and beat Robinson with 32. T-town and Paris had runners but not enough for team scores.

Robinson's Austin Wesley won the meet with a time of 17:52.44.

St. Anthony's Conlan Walsh was second in 18:13.74 followed by Griffen Elder in 18:24.93, Gio Buccio in 18:33.84 and Julius Ramos in 18:35.31. Aidan Braunecker rounded out the Bulldogs scoring in 10th in 19:58.47.

Also running for St. Anthony were James Emmerich 17th in 21:05.52, Oliver Kreke 18th in 21:11.62, Vincent Vogel 19th in 21:13.64, Noah Flaig 20th in 21:13.93, Max Sager 23rd in 21:31.86, Calvin Sudkamp 25th in 22:02.50, Sam Deters 31st in 25:37.33 and Nick Wiedman 33rd in 26:49.06.

T-town runners were Oliver Lee 14th in 20;32.72, Joseph Lee 27th in 22:43.60 and Luke Dennis 28th in 22:45.37.

 

In the girls meet, the Maroons tallied 18 points followed by Paris with 47. St. Anthony and Teutopolis had runners competing but not enough for team scores.

Robinson's Katelyn Jones won the meet with a time of 20:48.41.

Competing for St. Anthony were Emma Helmink seventh in 22:22.19, Ava Faber 11th in 23:59.03, Taylor Miller 13th in 24:55.73 and Grace Niebrugge 15th in 26:45.22.

Competing for Teutopolis were Maddie Zane 19th in 31:22.22 and Claire Overbeck 20th in 35:39.85
