Teutopolis Captures Dual Boys Meet

LOUISVILLE -- Teutopolis High School claimed a dual boys cross country meet Thursday. The Wooden Shoes tallied 29 followed by Altamont 45. Flora and North Clay (Louisville) had runners competing but not enough for team scores.

Flora's Isaac Stanford won the meet with a time of 17:06.

T-town scorers were Ethan Weidner third in 18:03, Matthew Deters fourth in 18:05, Cole Probst fifth in 18:06, Gavin Tegeler eighth in 19:00 and Brody Mette ninth in 19:07.

Scoring for Altamont were Derick Budde second in 17:59, Aden McManaway sixth in 18:19, Corey Jackson seventh in 18:20, Jerod Ruffner 13th in 19:33 and Matthew Becker 17th in 21:31.

In the girls meet, only Teutopolis had enough for a team score. Jessica Runde won in 19:57 followed by Olivia Copple second in 21:55, Kaitlyn Schumacher third in 22:12, Kaitlyn Vahling fourth in 22:15 and Taylor Bueker seventh in 22:58.

North Clay's McKenna Carter finshed fifth in 22:22 while Altamont's Taylor Mette was sixth in 22:58.
