(New York, NY) -- Russell Westbrook went off for 41 points helping the Western Conference beat the Eastern Conference, 163-158, in the 2015 NBA All-Star Game from Madison Square Garden. Westbrook won MVP as he just missed out on Wilt Chamberlain's All-Star Game record of 42 points. James Harden filled up the stat sheet with 29 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, while Chris Paul compiled a 12-point and 15-assist double-double for the West, which has won the exhibition game four of the past five years.

LeBron James posted a team-high 30 points with seven assists in the defeat. Carmelo Anthony struggled in front of the home crowd, shooting 6-for-20 and missing 11 of his 13 three-point attempts, but still tallied 14 points and seven boards.
Thunder's Westbrook Wins All-Star Game MVP
(New York, NY) -- Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook is taking home the 2015 All-Star Game MVP Award. Westbrook exploded off the bench for 41 points on 16-of-28 shooting, with five rebounds and three steals. He also knocked down five of his nine three-point attempts.
Westbrook became the second Oklahoma City player to claim the award after Kevin Durant earned the honor for his performance in the 2012 All-Star Game. The last three All-Star MVPs have been point guards. Chris Paul snagged the award in 2013, followed by Kyrie Irving in 2014. Westbrook finished one-point shy of Wilt Chamberlain's All-Star, single-game scoring record of 42.
Bulls Off Until Friday
(Chicago, IL) -- The Bulls will be back in action on Friday when they face the Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Chicago went into the All-Star break with a 113-98 win over the Cavaliers on Thursday. At 34-20, Chicago is third in the East.
