Iowa-Indiana Game Cancelled

(Bloomington, IN) -- Officials at Indiana University aren't sure why a piece of metal fell from the ceiling of historic Assembly Hall forcing cancellation of Tuesday's basketball game between Indiana and Iowa. IU Athletic Director Fred Glass said a crew of engineers inspecting the building believe it may be weather related. A piece of metal facing roughly eight feet long and 14 inches wide fell and damaged seats about six-and-a-half hours before the game was scheduled to tipoff. Glass didn't say when the men's team will be able to play again at Assembly Hall. He said they plan to work around the clock to fix the problem.
