No. 15 Cincinnati Upsets No. 7 Louisville

(Louisville, KY) -- Sean Kilpatrick scored 23 of his game-high 28 points in the second half as 15th-ranked Cincinnati upset number-seven Louisville 69-66 in Kentucky. Kilpatrick made four clutch free throws over the final nine seconds to lead the Bearcats to their 13th straight win. Justin Jackson added 11 points and nine rebounds, while Shaquille Thomas had 11 points and six boards for Cincinnati, which improved to 20-2 on the season and 9-and-0 in American Athletic Conference action. Montrezl Harrell netted 18 points to pace the Cardinals, who fell to 17-4 and 6-2. Russ Smith and Luke Hancock scored 16 points apiece in the setback.


No. 4 Florida Tops Mississippi State For 12th Straight Win

(Starkville, MS) -- Casey Prather posted 16 points and seven rebounds as fourth-ranked Florida topped Mississippi State 62-51 in Starkville. Patric Young chipped in with 12 points, eight boards and three blocks for the Gators, who have won 12 straight to improve to 18-2 on the season and 7-0 in SEC play. Florida hosts Texas A&M Saturday.


Michigan Wins

(Ann Arbor, MI) -- Tenth-ranked Michigan remains perfect in Big Ten play after a 75-66 win over Purdue last night at Crisler Center. Nik Stauskas led the Wolverines with 16 points, Caris LeVert had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Derrick Walton junior added 14 in Michigan's tenth straight victory. U of M, 16-4 overall and 8-0 in the conference, will tip off against Indiana University in Bloomington Sunday.


Illinois Hosts Iowa

(Champaign, IL) -- The Illinois Fighting Illini host the Iowa Hawkeyes at the State Farm Center tomorrow night. Tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. The Illini are 13-8 and 2-6 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes are 16-5 and 5-3 in the Big Ten.
