Nets Soar Past Hawks In London

(London, England) -- Joe Johnson scored 29 points, including 26 in the first half, as the Nets knocked off the Hawks 127-110 Thursday afternoon at London's O2 Arena. Andray Blatche added 20 points and 14 rebounds for Brooklyn, which shot 58.2-percent for the game. The Nets have won six of their last seven games to improve to 16-22. Mike Scott and Shelvin Mack each had 17 points to pace Atlanta, which has lost two straight and five of its last seven games. Jeff Teague added 16 points for the Hawks, who fell to 20-19.


Pacers Pound Knicks

(Indianapolis, IN) -- Lance Stephenson poured in a career-high 28 points as the Pacers pounded the Knicks 117-89 in Indiana.  Paul George posted 25 points and seven rebounds for the Pacers, who have won nine straight at home and are 20-and-1 overall at Bankers Life Fieldhouse this season. David West scored 12 points and Roy Hibbert and Danny Granger both added 11 in the victory.  Carmelo Anthony recorded 28 points and seven boards to lead New York, which lost its second straight since a season-high five-game winning streak. Tyson Chandler chipped in with 13 points and nine rebounds in the setback.


Rockets Stumble In Second Half; Fall To Thunder

(Houston, TX) -- After scoring 73 points in the first half, the Rockets put up just 19 after the break in a 104-92 loss to the Thunder at the Toyota Center.  It set an NBA record for the largest negative differential between halves of 54 points.  Houston shot just 19 percent in the second half and was 0-of-14 from three-point range. Kevin Durant dropped in a game-high 36 points for OKC, which has won two-of-three. Reggie Jackson scored 23 points and Serge Ibaka racked up 21 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks in the victory. James Harden had 16 points but was held scoreless in the second half. Terrence Jones also netted 16 points for the Rockets, who had won their previous three.


Bulls Meet Wizards Tonight

(Washington, DC) -- The Bulls clash with the Wizards tonight in our nation's capital. Chicago has won six out of seven, with the one loss coming against Washington on Monday. The Wiz are winners of four out of six contests. Tip from the Verizon Center in DC is set for 6:00.
