(Columbus, OH) -- LaQuinton Ross knocked down 8-of-13 shots on his way to 19 points in Ohio State's 76-64 win over Delaware at Value City Arena. The Buckeyes outscored the Blue Hens by 11 in the first half. OSU stayed undefeated at 11-0. The competition picks up on Saturday when they face Notre Dame at Madison Square Garden.  

UConn Upset By Stanford

(Hartford, CT) -- Connecticut is no longer undefeated. The 10th-ranked Huskies suffered their first loss of the season 53-51 to Stanford at the XL Center. DeAndre Daniels had 15 points for UConn, which fell to 9-1. The Huskies play at Washington Sunday.

#15 Baylor Tops Northwestern State In OT

(Waco, TX  -- The 15th-ranked Baylor Bears needed overtime to pull out a 91-84 win over Northwestern State at the Ferrell Center. Cory Jefferson recorded 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Rico Gathers added 19 points and 10 boards for the Bears, who upped their mark to 9-1 with their third straight victory. Baylor battles Southern Sunday.

Texas Upsets #18 North Carolina In Chapel Hill

(Chapel Hill, NC) -- Isaiah Taylor led a balanced attack with 16 points as Texas upset 18th-ranked North Carolina 86-83 in Chapel Hill. Jonathan Holmes posted 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Demarcus Holland had 15 points and seven boards for the Longhorns, who improved to 10-1 with their sixth straight win. Texas hosts fifth-ranked Michigan State Saturday.

Illinois Back In Action Saturday

(Champaign, IL) -- Illinois basketball has a few more days before taking the court.  The Fighting Illini will travel to St. Louis for Saturday's matchup against Missouri at the Scottrade Center. The Illini are off to a 9-2 start following Saturday's loss to Oregon. Mizzou is 10-0 on the campaign.
