Lillard, Blazers Sink Cavs

(Cleveland, OH) -- Damian Lillard walked into a deep three-pointer in the closing moments of the fourth quarter to lift the Trail Blazers to a 119-116 win against the Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena. It was Lillard's eighth hit from behind the arc and capped a 36-point, 10-assist, eight-rebound night.  LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points and 15 boards as Portland improved to 22-4. They are 12-and-2 away from home. Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters combined for 50 points in the loss, each dropping 25 apiece. Andrew Bynum chipped in 13 points with nine boards for Cleveland, which fell to 9-15.


Bobcats Best Kings

(Charlotte, NC) -- Kemba Walker's 24 points paced the Bobcats in a 95-87 win over the Kings at Time Warner Cable Arena. Gerald Henderson added 20 points and both he and Walker tallied five assists.  Al Jefferson chipped in 10 points and nine rebounds for Charlotte, which snapped a three-game losing streak. The Bobcats improved to 10-14. DeMarcus Cousins had a monster game in a losing cause with 30 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. Isaiah Thomas added 21 points. The Kings lost their third of four games and dropped to 7-16.


Lakers Slip Past Grizzlies

(Memphis, TN) -- Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol led the Lakers past the Grizzlies, 96-92, at the FedExForum. Gasol and Bryant each put up 21 points and combined to hit 18-of-30 shots. Nick Young added 18 off the bench for Los Angeles, which is 12-13. Memphis kept the game close despite being a depleted roster not featuring Marc Gasol, Mike Conley and Quincy Pondexter. Zach Randolph tried to pick up the slack posting a double-double with 18 points, 16 rebounds and five assists. The Grizz have dropped four in-a-row to fall to 10-14.


Thunder Roll Past Nuggets

(Denver, CO) -- Kevin Durant exploded for 30 points with six rebounds as the Thunder earned a 105-93 win over the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. Russell Westbrook added 21 points with 13 rebounds and eight assists for Oklahoma City, which has won seven straight and 15 of its last 16 games. Serge Ibaka posted 17 points and ten boards in the win. J.J. Hickson led Denver with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Ty Lawson had 17 points with 13 assists while Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler each poured in 13 points in defeat. The Nuggets had won three out of four.


Warriors Drop Pelicans

(Oakland, CA) -- Stephen Curry dropped 28 points and dished 12 assists to lead the Warriors in a 104-93 win over the Pelicans in Oakland. David Lee added 21 points and 17 rebounds while Klay Thompson poured in 16 points with six assists. Andre Iguodala returned from injury to play 17 minutes and score two points as Golden State stopped a brief two-game skid. Ryan Anderson had 21 points and six rebounds for New Orleans while Jason Smith added 12 points in defeat. The Pelicans have lost four out of six.


Bulls Face Rockets Tonight

(Houston, TX) -- The Bulls are in Houston to play against the Rockets tonight. Chicago has lost five out of six to fall to 9-14 on the season. The Rockets are 16-and-9 following a loss to the Kings on Sunday. Tip-off from the Toyota Center is set for 8:30.
