Nets Dump Clippers

(Brooklyn, NY) -- The Nets continue their rise since Deron Williams returned to the lineup as they defeated the Clippers, 102-93, at the Barclays Center.  Williams had 15 points, five rebounds and four assists as Brooklyn improved to 3-0 since he returned from his ankle injury. The Nets are 8-14. Joe Johnson and Andray Blatche each scored 21 points. Brook Lopez put up 16 and seven rebounds before leaving with a sprained ankle. Los Angeles shot 37-percent from the floor. Chris Paul tallied 20 points, while Jamal Crawford added 19 off the bench. The Clippers had a two-game winning streak come to an end. It was the first time LA head coach Doc Rivers faced his former players Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.

Blazers Trip Up Rockets

(Portland, OR) -- LaMarcus Aldridge went off for 31 points and 25 rebounds to lead the Trail Blazers to a 111-104 victory over the Rockets at the Moda Center. After a slow start, Aldridge shot 11-of-15 over the final 28 minutes as Portland improved to 19-4. Wesley Matthews added 18 points and Robin Lopez tallied a double-double with 16 and 10 boards. Dwight Howard's 32 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks wasn't enough for the Rockets. James Harden contributed 25 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Houston only hit 5-of-20 threes on its way to 15-8.

Bulls At Bucks

(Milwaukee, WI) -- The struggling Bulls are in Milwaukee tonight taking on the Bucks. Chicago dropped its third straight game, 83-78, to the Knicks on Wednesday. The Bulls were beaten by Milwaukee earlier in the week. The Bulls are 8-12, while the Bucks are 5-17.
