WINDSOR -- Altamont High School bounced Windsor in National Trail Conference boys basketball competition Tuesday evening, 83-42.
The opening quarter was close with the Indians edging out to a 16-14 lead. Altamont then took off to lead 36-25 at halftime and the third quarter was a scoring outburst, 27-13 for a 63-38 lead going into the final period.
The Indians had three players hit double digits. Garrett Ziegler led the way with 17 points as he connected on seven field goals, including one three-pointer, and two of two at the line. Derek Jahraus added 16 and Griffin Jackman 11.
Windsor was led by Allen and Warner with 17 points each.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis broke a 10-10 opening quarter tie with a 19-10 second period run to lead 29-20 at halftime. Salem then came back with an 18-8 third period run to lead 38-37 going into the final quarter.
T-town then broke the game open with a 23-12 final period run to pull out a 60-50 victory. Hardiek tallied 13 points while Brett Mette scored 12 and Wenthe 11.
The Wooden Shoes are now 5-1 on the season.

Brownstown/St. Elmo claimed a National Trail Conference win over Cowden-Herrick Tuesday evening, 67-45.
B/SE took a 31-17 halftime lead and never looked back. Behrends tallied a whopping 30 points for the winners while L. Maxey had 19 and M. Maxey 13.
Cowden-Herrick was led by Burrus with 15.

Stewardson-Strasburg dropped a non-conference contest with Arcola. The Purpleriders claimed a 65-54 victory.
Arcold held a 31-21 halftime lead and led 48-34 going into the final period. Javi Leal tallied 14 points, Kollin Seaman 13, Cole Hutton 11 and Chase Strader 10 for the winners.
Stew-Stras was led by Brandon Helmuth with 16, Jason Fry with 15 and Bryse Bugger with 14.

Dieterich picked up a National Trail Conference victory over Neoga Tuesday evening. The Movin' Maroons took a 27-23 halftime lead and outscored Neoga 13-7 in the third period for a 56-45 victory.
Traub tallied 12 for the winners while Aherin added 11. Neoga was led by Krikie with 23. The Indians drop to 1-2 in the conference, 3-5 overall.
In a freshman/sophomore game, Dieterich was a 32-16 winner.
