TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis High School easily handled Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in high school girls basketball competition Tuesday evening, 65-22.
The Wooden Shoes leaped out to a 19-2 opening quarter lead and never looked back. M. Hartke scored four points for the Shoes in the opening quarter then tallied 10 in the second period and finished with 20. Also in double figures were Thompson with 14 and Schumacher with 12.
BCCH was led by Kirby Herrman with eight points.
