St. A Wins Boys Contests; CH Claims Two

Effingham St. Anthony claimed a seventh-grade boys basketball victory over Sigel St. Michael Monday evening.
The Bullpups took a 28-10 halftime lead and went on for a 45-13 win over St. Michael. Blanchette taliled 12 and Ludwig 11 for the winners. St. Michael was led by Wolke with seven.
The Bullpups are still unbeaten at 3-0 on the season.
In eighth-grade action, St. Anthony won 35-26 and is 1-0. Nuxoll tallied 14 and Utz 10 for the winners. St. Michael was led by Kreke with 13.

At Beecher City
Cowden-Herrick nabbed two wins over Beecher City in action Monday evening.
Cowden-Herrick won the seventh-grade game 33-12. Dylan Webster scored seven for the winners. Mason Stewart led Beecher City with six.
In eighth-grade action, Cowden-Herrick won 43-10. Hunter Watson scored 10 while Ryder Seely and Coltin Rauch tallied eight each for the winners. Beecher City was led by Kaleb Doty with four.
