In consolation bracket play, Chatham Glenwood defeated Carlyle, 60-52 and Belleville East won over Triad, 53-32.
In winner bracke action, O'Fallon downed Breese Central 57-46. That moves O'Fallon into the championship game Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Breese Central drops into the third place contest at 1.
Tonight's games feature Edwardsville against O'Fallon at 5 p.m. followed by Teutopolis taking on Bethalto Civic Memorial at 6:30. The winners advance to the fifth place contest Saturday at 11:30 a.m. In winner bracket play tonight, Nashville faces Breese Mater Dei at 8 p.m. The winner advances to the title contest Saturday at 2:30 while the loser drops into the third place contest at 1 p.m.
Vandalia Tournament
Two games were contested Wednesday evening at the Vandalia Girls Tournament.
Mascoutah faced Mattoon in the opener. No score was reported.
Hillsboro downed Wesclin, 39-29,
The tournament continues tonight with Vandalia facing Greenville at 6 p.m. and Effingham taking on Salem at 7:30.
