The latest girls and boys high school basketball polls were released.

In the girls Class 1A poll, Effingham St. Anthony is still sitting in second place with 56 points.

Brownstown/St. Elmo moved up from ninth to seventh place with 23 points.

In Class 2A, Teutopolis remained in third place with 54 points.

Newton is in the others receiving votes category.

In Class 3A, Effingham is also in the others receiving votes.

In the boys poll, only one area team remains.

Effingham St. Anthony moved up from eighth place to sixth place with 42 points.
