The Little Illini Conference All-Stars won the 20th Annual Central Illinois All-Star Basketball Game Saturday night.

The LIC All-Stars defeated the National Trail Conference All-Stars 80-55 in a game played at Cumberland High School.  The senior class members of the schools in both conferences each year take part in the contest.

Aaron Siler of Robinson was the Little Illini Conference Most Valuable Player, while Jacob Schuette of St. Anthony was the National Trail Conference MVP.

Dalton Hinterscher of Dieterich won the three-point competition, hitting 13 of 15 shots in the final round.

The LIC never trailed and scored the first six points of the game. St. Anthony's Jacob Schuette brought the NTC back within 9-6 on a basket. Schuette finished leading the squad with 12 points.

But the LIC went on an 11-2 run and the NTC couldn't get within single digits from that point on. Casey-Westfield's Trivette Scales tallied 12 points for the winners while Cumberland's Trevor Brumleve scored 10. The LIC hit eight of 16 from three-point range.
