CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois fans wishing to cheer on the Panthers men’s and women’s basketball teams at this year’s Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Tournament in Nashville can take advantage of Early Bird Pricing for OVC Ticket Packages through this Thursday, January 31.  Interested fans can call the EIU Athletic Ticket Office at 217-581-2106 for more information or to purchase tickets.

EIU currently has All-Session tickets available for sale for $60.  This price allows for admission to all games played at this year’s tournament, March 6-9 at Municipal Auditorium.  On Friday, Feb. 1, All-Session ticket prices will rise to $80.  Single game tickets are $30 for each men’s session and $15 for each women’s session.

Tickets for all men’s tournament games are reserved tickets with the only way to sit on the lower quadrant for EIU games is to purchase an All-Session ticket through the EIU Athletic Ticket Office.  Tickets for all women’s tournament games are general admission seating.

Heading into the final month of the season the EIU men are currently seventh in the OVC standings and would play on Wednesday night if the tournament started today.  The EIU women are currently first in the OVC standings and would play on Friday afternoon if the tournament started today.  Both teams play at SIU Edwardsville this Saturday with the women tipping at 4 p.m. followed by the men at 7 p.m.
