NBA Finals Get Underway Thursday

The NBA Finals get underway Thursday and oddsmakers have made Golden State the overwhelming favorite.

The Warriors are 12-point favorites to win Game 1, which is the largest spread in a Finals game since 1991. All-Star forward Kevin Love remains in concussion protocol and his Game 1 status is in question.

 

Game Seven  Drew 18 Million Viewers

Game 7 of the NBA Western Conference finals drew 18 million viewers, making it the second-most watched NBA game in cable TV history. The only game that topped it was the 2016 West finals Game 7 between the Warriors and Thunder.


Brown, 76ers Agree to Extension

The Philadelphia 76ers and coach Brett Brown have agreed to a three-year contract extension that runs through the 2021-2022 season. Brown took the 76ers from 10 wins to the third seed in the Eastern Conference in just two seasons.
