The Lincoln Land Loggers were on the road for their third straight game as they headed south to take on McKendree's junior varsity. The Loggers had their hands full as the game was close throughout the entire evening. Neither team held a lead of more than 10 points but the Loggers tallied a 73-64 victory.

Takeing a  seven point 42-35 lead into the half, the Loggers found just enough scoring when they needed it. With 8:15 left in the game, the Loggers were holding a slim one point lead until Jeremy Wohltman, an Effingham High School graduate, slammed a slashing dunk down to give the Loggers the spark they required to help put the game away. The Loggers closed strongly down the stretch and finished off the Bearcats.

The Logers were led in scoring by 6-foot-4 sophomore Wohltman and Marcus Graham with 14 points each. Graham led in assists with five.

Lincoln Land returns home Saturday to take on Illinois Wesleyan JV.
