Cowden-Herrick Falls to Patoka at Ramsey/Mulberry Grove Tourney

Cowden-Herrick High School evened its record in the Ramsey/Mulberry Grove Boys Basketball Tournament Tuesday evening.

The Hornets fell to Patoka 59-46.

Brownstown 70, Odin 64 (OT)

Brownstown defeated Odin in overtime. The score was knotted at 8-8 after the opening period before the Bombers took a 28-22 halftime lead. Odin fought back in the second half to pull ahead 40-34 going into the final period and Brownstown knotted the score in the final quarter as M. Sefton tallied 10 points.

In the overtime period, Brownstown ripped off to the win as Sefton continued his hot scoring to finish with 34 points. Also in double figures were Behrends with 11 and Hunter with 10.

Odin was led by Devin Williams with 16 points, Ike Morgrem with 15 and Austin Perkins with 11.

In the other two contests, Mulberry Grove defeated Sandoval 53-29 and Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran edged Ramsey 50-49 in overtime.

Cowden-Herrick and Christ Our Rock Lutheran each have 2-0 records. Two games are on tap for tonight, Odin vs. Sandoval at 6:15 and Mulberry Grove against Brownstown at 7:45.
