BCCH, Altamont Claim Two Victories Each

Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick Junior High School picked up both the seventh- and eighth-grade girls basketball victories Saturday.

In the seventh-grade contest, BCCH won 34-5. Taylor Oldham and Elizabeth Day had 10 points each. BCCH improves to 1-2 overall.

In the eighth-grde contest, BCCH won 30-17. Emma Wehrle and Skylar Morrison had eight points each. BCCH is now 1-2.

At Altamont

Altamont claimed two victories over Stewardson-Strasburg in Friday action.

Altamont won the seventh-grade contest 26-4 to improve to 6-0 on the season overall, 2-0 in the National Trail Junior High Conference. Carly McHugh led Altamont with 13 points.

In eighth-grade competition, Altamont was a 48-6 winner. McKenzie Goldstein had 13 points for the winners while Brooke Burns added nine. Altamont is now 5-1 overall, 2-0 in the conference.
