Former EIU Guard To Play in Turkish League

CHARLESTON, Ill. – Former Eastern Illinois guard Jeremy Granger will continue his basketball career as he will play with Selcuk Universitesi Team in the Turkish II Basketball League this season. The Selcuk Team posted a 30-8 record last year losing in the Turkish League Tournament semifinals.
Granger was a second team All-OVC selection at EIU last year leading the team in scoring (15.9 ppg) and assists (3.0 apg). Granger finished his career with 1,287 points, 313 assists and 338 rebounds. His 86.9 career free throw percentage (319-of-367) set the EIU career record while ranking in the top five all-time in the Ohio Valley Conference. He finished his career 16th on the EIU career scoring list and 3rd on the EIU career assists list.
