Neoga Wins Over BCCH in Girls JH Basketball

Neoga won over Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick twice in girls junior high basketball Friday.
In the 7th grade game, Neoga won 12-10 with Atwell scoring eight and Banning and Ramert each scoring two points for Neoga, while Taylor Oldham scored six points and Erica Lorton and Cortney Danekas each scored two points for BCCH.
In the 8th grade game, Neoga won over BCCH 37-15. For Neoga, Roy led the way with 14 points while Ewing scored eight, Padgett seven, Miah three, Potter and Drydan two apiece and Kersey one point. For BCCH, Hope Barnes scored five points, Skylar Morrison four, Felicia Johnson three, Emma Wehrle two and Sarah Kirchhofer one.
It was the opening games for BCCH, who are back in action on Tuesday against Vandalia.
