Magic Hand Pelicans Loss, NBA Roundup

Nik Vucevic scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and the Orlando Magic beat the New Orleans Pelicans 110-107 in overtime on Wednesday night.

Anthony Davis had 33 points and 16 rebounds for New Orleans. Nate Robinson had 18 points.

Rookie Mario Hezonja scored 19 points and Tobias Harris had 18 and eight rebounds for the Magic. Vucevic fouled out in overtime. . C.J. Watson was the only point guard available against the Pelicans. Elfrid Payton (hamstring) and Shabazz Napier (calf) were out. Hezonja hit his first four shots, three of them 3-pointers.

The Pelicans' Davis hit two free throws with 12 seconds left in regulation to tie the score at 101 and send it to OT. Ryan Anderson scored 11 points before fouling out. PG Tyreke Evans had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Tuesday. He's expected to be out 6-8 weeks. C Omer Asik sat out the game with a calf injury.
