Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick Junior High School claimed two victories over Effingham Sacred Heart in girls basketball action Tuesday evening.
BCCH won the seventh-grade contest 29-10. Four players scored six points each for the winners, Burks, Moeller, Sloan and Gour. Karolewicz and Carie led the Shamrocks with four points each.
In eighth-grade action, BCCH won 34-11. Wojcik scored 16 points while Robertson chipped in with 10 for the winners. Feldhake and McDevitt had four each for Sacred Heart.

At Neoga
Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor and Neoga split National Trail Conference wins Tuesday.
Stew-Stras/Windsor won the seventh-grade game 37-7 by leaping out to a 26-2 halftime lead. Mikala Nichols scored 18 points for the winners.
In eighth-grade action, Neoga took a 28-14 win. The score was tied at 8-8 at halftime. Neoga came out in the third quarter and went on a 12-2 run. Buescher tallied six in leading eight players in scoring. SSW was led by Davis with 10.

At Charleston
Teutopolis fell victim to Charleston in seventh-grade action, 53-4. Charleston ran off 31 points to lead 31-0 after one quarter and 31-4 at halftime.
Kylie Hoelscher and Julia Probst had the lone points for the Shoes (1-2) with two each.
In eighth-grade action, it was the Shoes who ripped out to a 16-0 first quarter lead and led 22-5 at halftime and went on for a 42-18 victory. Olivia Niemerg tallied 14 points while Alli Brumleve and Claire Bushur had eight each for the Shoes. T-town is now 3-0.
