No. 1 Kentucky Pulls Away From Vanderbilt, College Scores

Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) -- Aaron Harrison scored all of his 14 points in the second half and No. 1 Kentucky got all it could handle from Vanderbilt before pulling away late for a 65-57 win on Tuesday. Vandy was within three with five minutes to play and four at 2:36 after Matthew Fisher-Davis drilled his fourth 3-pointer of the game. Harrison answered with a trey of his own, and his brother Andrew scored on a layup to help the nation's top team stay unbeaten.

Dakari Johnson added 10 points for Kentucky (18-0, 5-0 SEC) and Willie Cauley-Stein had a game-high 10 rebounds. Riley LaChance shot 6-of-8 for 16 points and Fisher-Davis had 13 for Vanderbilt (11-7, 1-4), which has dropped its last four games after opening league play with a win over Auburn. Damian Jones gave 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.

(6) Wisconsin 82, (25) Iowa 50

Madison, WI (SportsNetwork.com) -- Sam Dekker had 17 points, Nigel Hayes scored 16 and No. 6 Wisconsin rolled to an 82-50 win over No. 25 Iowa on Tuesday. Frank Kaminsky and Bronson Koenig added 13 points each for the Badgers (17-2, 5-1 Big Ten) and Kaminsky pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds. Wisconsin picked up its eighth consecutive Big Ten home win and tied No. 13 Maryland for first place in the conference.

Jarrod Uthoff scored 12 points to lead the Hawkeyes (13-6, 4-2), who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Wisconsin is 10-1 in its last 11 games overall, the only loss coming Jan. 11 at Rutgers when it played without Kaminsky because of a concussion and finished the game without point guard Traevon Jackson, who suffered a fractured foot in the second half.

(9) Iowa State 77, Kansas State 71

Ames, IA (SportsNetwork.com) -- Jameel McKay tied his career-high of 15 points and also had seven rebounds and three blocks off the bench as No. 9 Iowa State held off Kansas State 77-71 on Monday night. Georges Niang scored 14 points with six rebounds and four assists and Monte Morris and Abdel Nader each netted 11 for the Cyclones (14-3, 4-1 Big 12), who were coming off an 88-81 win over Kansas on Saturday.

Nino Williams had 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting and eight boards, while Marcus Foster and Thomas Gipson chipped in 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the Wildcats (11-8, 4-2), who had their four-game winning streak come to an end.

Davidson 77, (22) Dayton 60

Davidson, NC (SportsNetwork.com) -- Davidson showed Tuesday its high-powered offense can light up the scoreboard against stingy defenses too. Peyton Aldridge hit four of the Davidson's 12 3-pointers and the Wildcats snapped Dayton's eight-game wining streak and handed the 22nd-ranked Flyers their first A-10 loss in a 77-60 drubbing at Belk Arena.

Davidson (13-4, 4-2 A-10) did not hit its season average of 82.4 points, but only because it took its foot off the gas after building a healthy lead. Aldridge finished with 22 points, Tyler Kalinoski chipped in with 21 and Jordan Barham, who started in place of an injured Jack Gibbs, added eight. Jordan Sibert and Kendall Pollard carried Dayton (15-3, 5-1) with 23 points apiece, but the Flyers committed 16 turnovers and for the first time all season had no answers on the defensive end.

Illinois Hosts Purdue Tonight

(Champaign, IL) -- Illinois welcomes Purdue to the State Farm Center tonight. The Fighting Illini lost to Indiana on Sunday and have alternated wins and losses in their last five games. Illinois is 12-7 overall and 2-4 in the Big Ten. The Boilermakers are 11-7 and 3-2.
