Georgetown Blows Out Villanova, College Scores

(Washington, DC) -- D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera and Isaac Copeland scored 17 points apiece as Georgetown blew out fourth-ranked Villanova 78-58 in Washington, DC.  The Hoyas took control of the game with a 17-0 run in the first half. Jabril Trawick chipped in with 10 points as Georgetown moved to 5-2 in Big East play and 13-5. Ryan Arcidiacono netted 16 points for the Wildcats, who fell to 4-2 in the Big East and 17-2 overall.


Kansas Holds Off Oklahoma

(Lawrence, KS) -- Kelly Oubre Jr. collected 19 points and nine rebounds as 14th-ranked Kansas held off a furious rally for an 85-78 win over 20th-ranked Oklahoma in Lawrence.  The Jayhawks led by 19 at halftime, but trailed by as many as four late in the second half. Perry Ellis added 16 points and eight boards for Kansas, which improved to 4-1 in Big 12 play and 15-3 overall. Buddy Hield led all scorers with 26 for the Sooners, who dipped to 3-3 in the Big 12 and 12-6 overall.
