Effingham St. Anthony claimed two junior high boys basketball wins over Altamont Thursday evening.
In the seventh-grade game, Dust tallied 13 and Hoene 10 as the Bullpups claimed a 38-30 win. St. Anthony led 15-12 at halftime and 29-24 going into the final period.
Delaney led Altamont with 13 points while Kollman added 10.
In the eighth-grade contest, St. Anthony stepped out to a 13-2 opening quarter lead and went on to down Altamont 48-9.
Ludwig, Strullmeyer and Brandenburger led the Bullpups with eight points each. Biggs led Altamont with seven.

At Dieterich
Dieterich picked up a couple of victories over Beecher City Thursday evening.
Dieterich was a 49-7 winner in the seventh-grade contest. Dieterich stepped out to a 17-1 opening quarter lead and had a 22-0 third period run. Cory Gephart led the winners with 12 points while Derek Kuhl added nine. Dieterich is now 11-8.
In the eighth-grade contest, Dieterich was a 39-29 winner. Dieterich's big scoring quarter came in the fourth when it outscored Beecher City 11-4 to put the game away. Randy Brummer scored 16 and Evan Bohnhoff 11 for the winners who improve to 3-12.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis claimed two victories over Salem Franklin Park by the exact same 43-19 count.
In seventh-grade play, the Wooden Booties took a 19-9 halftime lead. Mitch Hardiek was the leading scorer for the winners with 14 points. T-town is now 16-3.
In eighth-grade play, T-town held a 20-12 halftime lead and had a 17-5 third period run. Clint Weber scored 10 for the winners who improve to 12-7.

Windsor edged Stewardson-Strasburg 26-25 in seventh-grade competition. Windsor led just 16-15 at halftime and held that one point lead to win.
Lecrone led the winners with 12. Kirby led Stew-Stras (4-15) with 15.
In the eighth-grade contest, Windsor claimed a 40-24 victory with a 24-7 first half lead.
Windsor was led by Bennett with 12 points and Miller with 10. Stew-Stras (1-14) was led by Tabbert with seven points.
