Blazers Dump Hawks In Aldridge Return

(Atlanta, GA) -- LaMarcus Aldridge returned to the lineup and posted 25 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Trail Blazers to a 100-85 pasting of the Hawks at Philips Arena. Aldridge had missed Portland's last seven games in which they went 3-4. Damian Lillard added 21 points, six boards and four assists in the victory. The Hawks were without Pero Antic and Kyle Korver as they lost a fifth straight game.  Atlanta leads the Knicks by a game-and-a-half for the final playoff spot in the East. Jeff Teague posted 22 points in the defeat. Louis Williams chipped in 16 with four rebounds and four helpers off the bench.

Bucks Slip By Lakers

(Milwaukee, WI) -- Brandon Knight posted 30 points on 12-of-21 shooting as the Bucks nipped the Lakers 108-105 in Milwaukee. Ramon Sessions hit 50-percent of his shots en route to 22 points and five assists for Milwaukee, which snapped an eight-game slide.  Khris Middleton tallied 14 points in the win. Jordan Hill had 28 points and 16 rebounds for Los Angeles, which had won two in-a-row. Nick Young contributed 17 points off the bench in the loss.

76ers Tie NBA Record With 26th Straight Loss

(Houston, TX) -- The Philadelphia 76ers' losing streak is now at 26. James Harden recorded his second career triple-double with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Rockets crushed the Sixers 120-98 at the Toyota Center. The skid ties the NBA record set by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers. Dwight Howard posted 17 points and 13 boards, while Terrence Jones scored 20 points for the Rockets, who have won five in-a-row. James Anderson dropped in a game-high 30 points for Philadelphia, which will try to avoid breaking the record on Saturday at home against Detroit. Henry Sims had 18 points in the setback.

Clippers Crack Mavericks

(Dallas, TX) -- Chris Paul's 31 points and nine assists led the Clippers to a 109-103 victory over the Mavericks at American Airlines Center. All five of Los Angeles' starters were in double figures with Blake Griffin adding 18 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. LA pulled to within two games of the Thunder for the second-seed in the Western Conference. Vince Carter posted a team-high 23 points off the bench in the loss. Dirk Nowitzki contributed 21 and nine boards for Dallas, which trails the Suns by a half-game for the final playoff spot in the West.
