Bobcats Bounce Nuggets

(Charlotte, NC) -- Al Jefferson scored 26 points with 13 rebounds and four assists to lead the Bobcats past the Nuggets, 105-98, at Time Warner Cable Arena.  Kemba Walker added 24 points, seven assists and six rebounds as Charlotte has won three of four. Denver shot 5-of-24 from behind the arc including 2-of-10 from Wilson Chandler. Ty Lawson posted a team-high 24 points with six assists for Denver, which has lost two straight.

 

Knicks Drum Sixers

(New York, NY) -- The Knicks had four players score at least 20 points as they cruised past the 76ers, 123-110, at Madison Square Garden to earn their fourth straight win. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the way off the bench scoring 28 points, while Amar'e Stoudemire added 23 on 9-of-10 shooting. Carmelo Anthony and J. R. Smith each tallied 22 points. Michael Carter-Williams put together a triple- double in the loss with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Tony Wroten contributed 23 points off the bench for Philadelphia, which has lost 17 in-a-row.

 

"Big Three" Lead Heat Past Wizards

(Miami, FL) -- The "Big Three" combined for 67 points as the Heat knocked off the Wizards 99-90 at AmericanAirlines Arena. LeBron James posted 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, while Dwyane Wade scored 13 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter for the Heat, who avoided their first four-game losing streak since 2011. Chris Bosh also netted 22 points and Ray Allen added 13 off the bench in the victory. Marcin Gortat racked up 14 points and 18 rebounds for Washington, which had won eight-of-nine coming in. Bradley Beal scored 18 points and Martell Webster had 17 off the pine in the setback.

 

Nets Sink Raptors

(Brooklyn, NY) -- The Nets cut the Raptors lead in the Atlantic Division to three games with a 101-97 win at the Barclays Center behind 18 points apiece from Deron Williams and Shaun Livingston. Brooklyn was without Kevin Garnett and Andrei Kirilenko. Joe Johnson chipped in 14 points and Paul Pierce contributed 15 for the Nets, who improved to 32-30. Kyle Lowry paced Toronto with 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. DeMar DeRozan struggled, missing 6-of-9 shots but still finished with 14. The Raptors are 35-27.

 

Bucks Beat Magic For 13th Win

(Milwaukee, WI) -- Brandon Knight dropped in a game-high 24 points as the Bucks beat the Magic 105-98 at the Bradley Center. Khris Middleton posted 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Ersan Ilyasova added 16 points and 11 boards for the Bucks, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Ramon Session chipped in with 16 points and eight helpers off the bench in the victory. Nikola Vucevic posted 12 points and as many boards to lead Orlando, which suffered its third straight loss. Maurice Harkless had 14 points and Jameer Nelson recorded 13 points and seven assists in defeat.

 

Hawks Edge Jazz

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Kyle Korver scored 26 points and Paul Millsap added 23 against his former team, as the Hawks edged the Jazz 112-110 at EnergySolutions Arena. Jeff Teague tallied 14 points and Pero Antic added 12 for Atlanta, which snapped a six-game losing streak and won for just the second time in its last 16 contests. Trey Burke dropped in 23 points to lead the Jazz, who have dropped six-of-seven. Marvin Williams had 18 points and six rebounds in the setback.

 

Clippers Hold Off Suns

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Blake Griffin had 37 points and six rebounds before fouling out as the Clippers notched a 112-105 win over the Suns in Los Angeles.  Darren Collison added 20 points while Chris Paul had 17 points and 11 assists. The game featured a few minor scuffles between the division rivals. The Clippers shot 55-percent and won their eighth straight. Goran Dragic ended with 23 points and five assists for Phoenix, which had six players in double-figures. Gerald Green added 16 points while P. J. Tucker had 14 points and 10 boards in defeat. The Suns have lost three out of four.

 

Bulls Meet Spurs Tonight

(Chicago, IL) -- The Bulls welcome the Spurs to the United Center this evening. Chicago beat Miami in overtime on Sunday to improve to 35-28 with its third win in five games. San Antonio is 46-16 after downing Orlando on Saturday. Tip is scheduled for 7:00.
