Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor came back full force in the last two innings to pull out a 9-4 National Trail Conference baseball victory over Effingham St. Anthony Tuesday.

St. Anthony took a 2-1 first inning lead then pushed that to 3-1 in the third inning. Stew-Stras/Windsor tallied four runs in the sixth inning to take a 5-3 lead. The inning started with a Bulldog error then Moschenrose, Bugger, Kramer and Ohnesorge had a single each.

Stew-Stras/Windsor then tallied four more to put the game away in the seventh. St. Anthony's final run came in the bottom of the seventh.

Moschenrose led the winners with two singles and a double. Bugger and Kramer had a double each while Allen had three singles. Moschenrose also was the winning pitcher.

St. Anthony was led by Neil Williams with three singles, Austin Bushur with a double and Neil Ritz with a double.

At Neoga

Neoga took a 2-0 lead in the second, tacked on three more in the third and went on to beat Brownstown/St. Elmo 8-3.

Neoga banged out 11 hits in the contest led by Monroe, Moore, Walk and Abernathy with two each. The Indians improve to 3-4 in the conference, 8-9 overall.

Brownstown/St. Elmo was led by Dalton Parks and Jacob Behrends with two hits each. Behrends had an RBI. BSE drops to 2-5 in the conference, 9-8 overall.
