Here's updated statistics on local players who are in the Major League Baseball organizations. Thanks to Ted Gardewine for the information:
Danny Winkler — St. Anthony HS — Parkland CC/Central FL University — Colorado Rockies Drafted 20th Round 2011. Cubs Drafted him 43rd Round 2010. He recenlty got promoted to AA Tulsa Drillers of the Texas League. He started out 2013 at Hi A in the California League with the Modesto Nuts.
