Kingery Printing won the championship of the Cal Ripken League Tournament Wednesday evening.

Kingery Printing edged Dairy Queen 5-1 to win the championship of the Cal Ripken League Tournament Wednesday evening at Community Park.
Kingery took a 1-0 first inning lead and pushed that to 3-0 in the third and 5-0 in the fourth. Dairy Queen dented the plate in the sixth with two runs but couldn't catch up to the early lead.
Aaron Webb pitched a one-hitter for the win. Tanner Gordan picked up the save.
Mitch Hardiek led the hitting for the winners with a single, double and an RBI. Will Kabbes had the lone hit for Dairy Queen with a single and two RBI.
In the third place game, NAPA handed Arab Pest Control an 8-4 loss despite being outhit 6-3.
Dylan Bushur picked up the pitching win. Reid Mathenia had two singles and three RBI while Bushur had a triple for the winners.
Arab was led by Luke Ungrund with a single and double and Alex Talley and Austin Pontious with a double each. Pontious added an RBI.

Dairy Queen finished in second place in the Cal Ripken League Tournament Wednesday evening.
Luke Ludwig won the Most Valuable Player award while Josiah Bozdech captured the Sportsmanship award in the Cal Ripken League. Both are members of Dairy Queen.
Aaron Webb claimed the Rookie Award in the Cal Ripken League. Webb is a member of the Kingery Printing team. Not pictured was Dylan Guy, who also won the Rookie Award.
