Shelby County Downs Teutopolis in Legion Action

SHELBYVILLE -- Shelby County Junior Legion Posts 289-611-725 trailed Teutopolis Junior Legion 11-9 going into the bottom of the seventh inning then tallied 12 runs to end the game 21-11 via the 10-run rule.

It was a hitter's contest as Shelby County had 15 hits and Teutopolis had 14 hits. Shelby Countyw as led by Tyler Hendryx with two singles, a double and three RBI, Derek Moschenrose with two singles, a double and four RBI, Nic Hutchinson with a double and two RBI, Devon Deremiah with a double and two RBI, Jacob Kramer with two singles, ad ouble and two RBI and Josh Overbeck with a single, double and an RBI. Shelby County is now 7-17 on the season.

Teutopolis was led by Jack Roepke with two singles, a double and two RBI, Kyle Smith with two singles and two RBI, Matt Koester with a double and John Kreke with a single, double and two  RBI.
