Kingery Printing edged Northside Ford while NAPA bounced Rhodes Chiropractic in Cal Ripken League Tournament competition Thursday evening at Community Park.

Kingery edged Northside Ford 12-11. Kingery took an 8-6 lead after three innings. Northside tied in the top of the fifth but Kingery scored four runs in the bottom of the inning. Northside attemped a second comeback in the top of the sixth but fell a run short.

Kingery was outhit 10-5. Chase Thies had a single and a three-run homer for the winners. Tyler Runde had a single, double and an RBI and Bryson Wall a single and a two-run homer. He finished with three RBI.

In the second contest, NAPA tallied 16 runs in a 16-2 defeat of Rhodes Chiropractic. Dylan Bushur pitched a one-hitter.

Meanwhile NAPA had 11 hits led by Randy McMahon with two doubles and two RBI, Bushur with a single, double and an RBI and Reid Mathenia with a double and two home runs. Both were three-run shots and Mathenia finished with six RBI.

Alec Edwards had the lone hit for Rhodes with a double.
