The Lehigh Valley IronPigs shut out the Toledo Mud Hens Monday night at Coca-Cola Park, 7-0. The IronPigs took their third game of the four-game set and had back-to-back shutouts.

The IronPigs banged out 13 hits in the contest led by first baseman Cody Overbeck, who has lots of relatives in the Effingham area. Overbeck led off the second inning with his 15th home run of the season. He connected off Altamont High School graduate Derek Hankins.

Overbeck added on a single in the fourth and later scored on a sacrifice fly. He finished two-for-four.

Hankins pitched six innings allowing nine hits, four runs, all earned, one walk and struck out three. Hankins' record dropped to 3-4 on the season.
