St. Anthony, North Clay, Altamont, South Central Final Four In NTC Baseball Tourney

St. Anthony and North Clay will meet Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Paul Smith Field while South Central will travel to Altamont, also in a 4 p.m. contest. The game at Paul Smith Field will be heard on 979XFM while the North Clay vs. Altamont contest will be heard on KJ Country 102.3.
St. Anthony 12, Neoga 2
Top-seeded St. Anthony downed No. 9 Neoga 12-2 in five innings via the 10-run rule.
The Bulldogs edged out to a 3-2 opening inning lead then tallied two runs in the third and fourth and five in the fifth to end the contest.
Sam Link threw a four-hitter, with two walks and one strikeout. Nick Ruholl came on to toss the final inning.
St. Anthony finished with 11 hits led by Aiden Lauritzen with two singles, a double and an RBI while Link had two singles and two RBI, Beau Adams two singles, Brock Fearday and Max Koenig a single and two RBI each and Connor Roepke two RBI. Will Fearday added a single and an RBI.
Neoga finished with four hits led by Landon Titus with a single and an RBI and James Ballinger with an RBI.

At Louisville
North Clay/Clay City trailed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 2-0 going into the bottom of the third. The Cardinals then broke loose with four runs and finished out with a 10-2 win over the Bobcats.
North Clay had nine hits and did not commit an error.
CHBC was led by Wyatt Rueff and AJ Radloff with a single and an RBI each. Clayton Wojcik had a single and scored two runs.
The Bobcats end the season with an 11-5 record.
North Cay/Clay City advances to the semifinals with a 14-9 record.

At Altamont
Altamont finished with 11 hits and Dieterich committed seven errors as the Indians claimed a 16-2 victory in five innings due to the 10-run rule.
The Indians stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead then had an 11-run second and tacked on a final run in the third.
Altamont was led in hitting by Ethan Robbins with two doubles and four RBI, Nathan Stuemke with a single, triple and two RBI, Kaden Davis with a double and an RBI, Riley Berg with two singles and an RBI and Dillan Elam with a single and two RBI.
Aden McManaway went three innings on the mound for the win. He allowed one hit, one walk and struck out five.
The Maroons had three hits led by Dominic Ashley with a triple and an RBI. Theo Wenske added an RBI.
At Altamont

South Central took a 2-1 opening inning lead and went on for an 11-4 win over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg.
The Cougars scored six more in the second and the two teams were 3-3 in the fifth.
Trevan Sidwell provided the big offense for South Central with three singles, a double and two RBI. Colby Bursott had a single, double and an RBI while Brody Markley added two singles. Zane Montes and Callaway Smith contributed a single and two RBI each while Maddox Robb had two RBI. Colton Smith finished with a single and an RBI.
Callaway Smith went 5.1 innings, allowing one run on three hits, one walk while striking out five.
Charley Spour led the Hatchets with two singles and a double. Ben Bridges added a single, double and an RBI, Jackson Gurgel a double and Kendall Morris a single and an RBI.
