National Trail Conference Baseball Tournament Pairings Released

Effingham St. Anthony finished atop the NTC regular season standings with a perfect 8-0 record followed by Altamont (7-1), South Central (5-3), North Clay (4-4), Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (4-4), Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (3-5), Dieterich (2-6), Brownstown/St. Elmo (2-6) and Neoga (1-7).
Today's game features No. 8 Brownstown/St. Elmo against No. 9 Neoga at 4 p.m. at St. Elmo.
The tournament continues Monday with St. Anthony against the winner of that contest at Paul Smith field at 4 p.m. No. 4 North Clay will host No. 5 CHBC at 4 p.m. No. 2 Altamont is home to No. 7 Dieterich, also at 4 p.m. and No. 3 South Central will host No. 6 Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 4 p.m. at Kinmundy.
Games 6 and 7 will be played at 4 p.m. at fields to be determined Wednesday.
The third place game will be at 4 p.m. and the championship at 7 p.m. at Altamont Friday, Oct. 6.
The Wednesday games can be heard on KJ Country 102.3 and 979 XFM. Friday's games will be heard on KJ Country 102.3.
