Khoury League, Ripken League Results from Friday

Elks Club and Scott Mosher Country Financial were the winners in Khoury League action Friday night, while Arab won over Arrow in Cal Ripken League play in a battle of the pest control providers.

In the first Khoury League contest, Elks scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to post the win after the Rotary Wheels scored a run in the top of the seventh to go ahead 9-8.  Kolby Brewer got the win and also homered with a runner on in the second.  Riley Walden took the loss.

In the other Khoury League game, Scott Mosher Country Financial scored four in the first and five in the third, then added two in the fourth and three more in the sixth for the win.  Dan Hecht scored a run in the third and three in the fourth.  Mosher pounded out 13 hits to four for Hecht.  Joe Matteson got the win while Zach McCabe took the loss.  Dalton Will homered twice and drove in six runs for Mosher.

In the Cal Ripken contest Friday, Arrow made it interesting with five runs in the sixth but came up short.  Arab scored five in the third, three in the fourth and four in the sixth to post the win.  Kaleb French got the win, while Brayden Quandt took the loss.
