Effingham Junior Legion Drops Twinbill to Salem

Salem captured two wins over American Legion Post 120 in Junior Legion play Wednesday.

In the first game, Salem had a seven-run third and claimed a 13-1 win. Salem had 10 hits in the contest led by Boles with three singles and three RBI. Martin had a single, double and two RBI.

Salem won 4-1 in the second game, taking a 2-0 first inning lead. Salem had four hits while Effingham had only two hits. Davis led Salem with a double and three RBI while Barnes led Effingham with a double.
