TOMORROW'S STARS KHOURY LEAGUE

Sherwin Williams took the early lead then had to fight off South Central FS for a 6-4 victory in action at Community Park Tuesday evening.

South Central FS tallied all four of its runs in the third for a 4-3 lead but Sherwin Williams came back with two runs in the fourth. Jack Blickem pitched the three-hitter. Sherwin Williams had nine hits in the contest led by Blickem with a double, triple and an RBI, Overbeck with two singles and Cutts with a triple and an RBI.

Faber led South Central FS with three singles and three RBI.

In the second contest, Heritage Builders banged out 16 hits and scored 16 runs in a 16-3 win over Dan Hecht. Heritage took a 3-1 first inning lead then had a 10-run third and a three-run fifth. Dylan Cunningham picked up the two-hit pitching win.

Cunningham had two singles, a triple and two RBI while Reardon had three singles, a triple and three RBI, Thompson, two doubles, triple and three RBI and Lawrence two singles, a three-run homer and five RBI.

McCabe led Dan Hecht with both hits, singles.

CAL RIPKEN LEAGUE

DEKALB and Northside Ford claimed victories in Cal Ripken League action at Community Park Tuesday evening.

DEKALB took a 2-0 first inning lead and had a seven-run second for a 10-4 win over Kemper CPA. Ben Strullmyer pitched a four-hitter.

The winners had 13 hits in the contest led by Lucas Vasquez with a single and double, Kyle Pemberton, Carson Utz and Wiliam Lawrence with two singles each. Utz and Pemberton had an RBI each. Mitchell Heuerman added a single, double and an RBI.

In the second contest, Northside Ford trounced Arrow Pest Control 21-6 behind 18 hits. Tyler Runde had a single, three doubles and an RBI while Reilly Ashton had three singles and four RBI, Blake Fitzgerald, a single, double and three RBI, Trenton Schwerdt two singles and two RBI and Davis Tingley and Jacob Cameron with two singles and an RBI each.

Justin Buennemeyer had two singles for Arrow.

BABE RUTH PREP LEAGUE

The Teutopolis Falcons and Teutopolis Warriors were victors in Babe Ruth Prep League play at Evergreen Hollow Park Tuesday.

In the opener, the Falcons edged Effingham Asphalt 9-7. Asphalt held a 7-3 lead going into the sixth inning when the Falcons broke loose with six runs to pull out the victory. Brayden Will and Jack Goeckner had a double and two RBI for the winners while Eric Kramer, Clint Weber and Josh Hardiek had two singles each. Kramer had two RBI and Weber one RBI.

Leading Effingham Asphalt were Hunter Peterson with a single, double and an RBI and Alec Morissey with two singles.

In the second contest, the Teutopolis Warriors defeated Tingley Insurance 8-2. The Warriors held a slim 3-2 lead going into the sixth then tallied five runs.

The Warriors had only three hits, all singles, by Jake Wente, Lee Hardiek and Brad Oseland. Wente and Oseland added an RBI. Cole Hoene and Kaleb Doty had a single each for Tingley. Doty added two RBI.
